A Free Jotform Sign Alternative

Jotform is a form builder first. Its signing capability extends forms into signed documents, which is a natural fit if your workflow starts with collecting structured data — an application, an intake questionnaire, a registration — and ends with a signature.

Bond4Docs starts from the opposite end. It assumes you already have a PDF — a lease, a contract, a waiver, an offer letter — and its job is to route that document to signers and produce a defensible record. It has no form builder and does not attempt to have one.

Jotform's free plan meters several things at once: ten signed documents per month, five forms, and 100 submissions per month, with Jotform branding applied. Because the limits are separate, hitting any one of them constrains the workflow even when the others have headroom.

Branding is worth noting separately. On documents sent to clients, tenants, or candidates, vendor branding on a free tier is a visible signal about the sender, which is a different consideration from a volume cap.
