Send to every family
No per-form charge, so class-wide and school-wide sends are routine.
Schools and education
Schools collect the same forms from hundreds of families at once, with a hard deadline and a guardian rather than the participant signing. Volume and chasing are the whole problem.
Free · No credit card · No signing limits
Bond4Docs gives schools and youth programs free electronic signatures with no per-form or per-student charge. Permission slips, field trip consents, enrollment forms, media releases, athletics participation forms, and technology use agreements can each be templated and sent to families, who sign from a secure link without creating an account. Because there is no signing limit, sending to every family and following up with reminders costs nothing. Note that student education records are governed by FERPA, and Bond4Docs does not offer a business associate agreement for protected health information, so health-related forms need separate consideration.

Capture the student's name and assign the signature to the parent or guardian.
Reminders handle the families who have not returned the form.
School paperwork is highly seasonal and highly repetitive, which makes templates unusually valuable: the same forms go out at the same points every year with only names and dates changing.
For any student under the age of majority, the signing party is a parent or legal guardian. Capture the student's name in a text field, assign the signature to the adult, and include a field recording their relationship to the student.
Where a school needs consent from both guardians, add each as a separate recipient so both signatures are individually recorded.
The administrative burden in school forms is not preparing them, it is following up with the families who have not returned them. Status tracking shows exactly who has not opened the form and who opened it but did not finish, and reminders handle the follow-up.
An expiration date matching the trip or registration deadline closes the request automatically rather than leaving it open indefinitely.
Student education records are governed by FERPA, which restricts disclosure of personally identifiable information from those records and imposes requirements on how schools handle and share them. Schools should evaluate any vendor arrangement against their FERPA obligations.
Health-related forms deserve particular caution: Bond4Docs does not offer a business associate agreement and should not be used for protected health information. Consult counsel or your district's privacy officer about which forms are appropriate.
